Michael grew up in Alabama not far from the famous Talladega racetrack. He attended undergraduate education at Emory University in Atlanta where he received degrees in Psychology and Philosophy. Next, he attended Vanderbilt University Law School in Nashville, graduating in 2005. Shortly after graduation, he came to Colorado in 2006. Michael started this legal career working for 4 years at a mid-sized personal injury firm in Denver. For the following 12 years he worked for one of the largest personal injury firms in the front range before founding Born & McCaffrey.
